What do you do when it seems your whole world is spinning out of control? Wise people turn to God's word. The inspired writer said in Ps. 119:50, "This is my comfort in my affliction, for Your word has given me life." God's word has solutions to the problems of today. Yet there is one problem, one has to take time to read God's word. Just having a Bible handy is not enough, one must open it and read it to get the answers they need.

The New Testament addresses the value of God's word. We read in Heb. 4:12, "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart." Need a book to really pick you up? Then take God's word. It is amazing!
