As you know, we recently removed the stained carpet and benches, and replaced them with new, clean replacements. However, if we do not take care, our new things will soon be stained like the old was.
Lately, one of our members has been pre-cleaning the building fro the cleaning lady. Candy, sucker sticks, and wrappers are stuffed into the packets on the back of the chairs, papers are scattered over the floor, and food is draped throughout the auditorium. To say the least, we need some help with this situation.
Here is the idea: in the past, some of the children helped pick up the communion cups, and were so helpful. Now that that is no longer necessary, perhaps we could enlist the children to help clean up after services. We could call this group our "Hannah Samuel Helpers Group". This would be a great way for our children to learn to serve.
