The inspired writer asked an important question in Ps. 11:3, "If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" We are living in an age when Biblical foundations are being attacked. For example, since the late 18th century, some scholars are attacking the inspiration of the scriptures. They seek to make the Bible a human production with no real authority. What can the righteous do? The righteous trust the Scriptures (2 Tim. 3:16-17).
Another foundation being attacked is Jesus Christ Himself. Some deny His divinity, while others deny His humanity. Still others reflect what the Scriptures said He said and did. What can the righteous do? The righteous remain faithful to their confession of Christ (Heb. 10:23).
Another foundation being attacked is creation. In most universities God is left out of this. What can the creation glorifies its Creator (Ps. 19:1).
When the attackers are all gone, the truth will still be standing.
